The Mission of the SouthWest Society of Service Coordinators is to empower people working in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities with networking opportunities and education to increase their knowledge and ability to meet the needs of the people they serve.

Goals

1.  Promote an outcome-based approach to the delivery of services and supports to persons with disabilities.

2.  Provide quality training and education opportunities to providers of services and supports to people with disabilities.

3.  Disseminate relevant information through newsletters, conferences, seminars and workshops.

4.  Support the continuing educational needs of the people who provide services and supports to people with disabilities.
